Fixing Thermal Throttling on my MacBook 12″

I recently bought a MSI 27″ gaming monitor for regular office use

I connected it to my MacBook 12″. The mouse pointer started to lag a lot, so I turned it upside down and put some ice at the base.

Now i am unable to run 4K resolutions flawlessly.
